Independent Living and Community Support

Nationally, our Care at Home and Day Support services provide support to over 10,000 people living independently in their own homes.

Packages of care and support are completely flexible and person-centred, and can include personal care as well as one-to-one support to access educational, employment and leisure opportunities in the community.

Every day, people using our Supported Living services take a next step towards living more independently, using the expertise of our staff to learn new skills and access community based groups, jobs and volunteering opportunities.

Care Homes

Many of our Care Homes have a specialist focus on the needs of young people. Many are also registered as care homes with nursing, enabling us to support people with the very highest level of personal care needs.

In addition, these services also provide specialist short term placements for around 2 to 3 years, for people who require a registered environment as the first step in the transition process toward a more independent lifestyle.

Short Break and Respite services

Most of our services can provide the option of short break support, which can be particularly helpful in managing a smooth transition process.
